ABOUT Animals' Dignity

ABOUT US
The Foundation

Animals' Dignity is founded on the conviction that truth can be recognized by and compel anyone to take right action.

The Mission

The mission of Animals' Dignity is to advocate for and provide a venue for others to help advocate for the dignity of non-human animals (under human oppression) until non-human animals are no longer harmed unnecessarily by human actions.
The Methods --- Of Advocation
  • The advertisement of the site.
  • The use and dissemination of this site's advocacy materials.
  • The facilitation of self-inquiry into harms of habit through the use of strategic questions, an appeal to human values towards animals and reflection.
  • The use of facts, logic and reason.

The Goals

  • To inspire and facilitate active advocates in every city.
  • The ultimate goal is to end all unnecessary harms unto non-human animals.
The Hope

The hope is that this site and its advertisement/advocacy materials will inspire others to create their own advocacy sites and advertisement/advocacy materials, using this method.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is my belief that humans cannot have dignity as long as they harm other animals unnecessarily; when we do harm to other animals unnecessarily, because we are hardwired for empathy and logic, we suffer and lose our dignity. And so, it is because of this, nature given, empathetic and logical recognition of non-humans', that ending all unnecessary harm unto non-humans is priority, and animal advocacy is the means of which to do this. Animal advocacy is a very humble activity it's just doing what one's compelled to do, in order to protect another animal's life when it is threatened. It's just maintaining one's own self-respect. There's no reward, other than knowing that you did the very best you could to do what's right.

Those that have been misinformed, in denial of the consequences of their actions unto non-human animals, or are selfish and greedy, they will not care about any urgency of animal advocacy and w
ithin this current culture there are few who are not misinformed, in denial or greedy. Which is why, with care and compassion, it is urgent to advocate for other animals through the use of strategic questions, facts, logic and reason, and with an emphasis and focus on how one's own fundamental values and how other animals are violated by the practice of eating animals.

One of the best ways to advocate for animals is to bring an awareness to the habituated harms to animals by presenting the question, "do you believe that it is wrong to harm an animal when it is avoidable, coupled with the statement and suggestion, 'if so, go plant-based", this, I believe, would help one realize, for their self that their actions are unnecessary, against their own values, and harmful and this is one of the things that the Animals' Dignity website does. Also, when one has to read the message, it sinks in, and sticks with them so to speak. And in this way, an advocate for other animals who advertises the Animals' Dignity website and/or uses its advocacy materials or method would be like a true superman or superwoman, as they appeal to a person's humanity to get them to do the right thing.

People already know that other animals matter and deserve respect, but people are also highly invested in greed. And so, it can be tricky when it comes to figuring out what to say and in what context to do so, so as to make it least likely to provoke greed as opposed to an empathetic response. When someone comes to a realization (especially a non-status-quo/unconventional realization) about something and wants to give that realization to another, they usually dismissively "forget" about the process that it took to get to such realization in favor of the realization itself, and so start with the "prized" realization, but that almost never works out. The realization is almost never accepted by the other who hasn't gone through the process of getting there. This, I believe, has likely been a fault of advocates in the past. Starting with the process, I believe, is one thing that will assist people in focusing on the value of other animals, and that it will then cause them to fight for other animals, the respect of our values, and our dignity.
Animal consumption and its norm is a habituated killing machine, powered by people who deny the horror that has been habituated within such a norm. But I expect that there will be a mass inquiry and awakening out of this status-quo, that cognitive dissonance will be questioned, and that we won't be deceived by the misinformed, selfishness and GREED, and that the resultant violence will stop.

The idea is that by opening up a venue for other people to get educated and advocate in this way, that it will help others advocate for other animals, and that it will be the missing key that has not been tried or found and used, and that it will then dissolve the animal killing machine.

Also, I hope that this site inspires others to learn to create their own
a
dvocacy materials of this kind, using this method, and that the truth that this site brings to light aids in compelling others to advocate for other animals, in a culture where violence is often hidden.

[NOTE: Within the culture of animal exploitation, habit puts exploitation on autopilot and then when truth comes into awareness, greed denies the fact.]

If this site inspires you to advocate for non-human animals in this way, using this method, then pledge to advocate for animals below, there is no time to waste. Visit the advocacy materials creation page and the resources page HERE ---Wayne Martin (founder)
